Migrating from another provider
Import your templates, suppression lists, users, and domains from Mailgun or SendGrid — with IDs preserved — and keep them in sync.
Move to wemail without losing your setup. The Migration module (Console → Migration) imports everything from Mailgun or SendGrid — templates, suppression lists, team members, and sending domains — and can keep them in sync.
Available platforms
You can migrate from these providers today:
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
Mailgun | Available | Optional | Templates, suppressions, sending domains, and users. EU and US regions are auto-detected from the API key. |
SendGrid | Available | Optional | Templates (dynamic template IDs preserved), suppressions, domains, and teammates. |
What gets imported
Templates keep their original IDs and dynamic fields, so code that already references a SendGrid template_id keeps working unchanged.
Suppression lists are imported with their reasons and dates and applied to both sending and email verification, so you never message an address your old provider already suppressed.
Team members can be invited in bulk — you choose who, and set each role. Sending domains are provisioned with real DKIM, ready for one-click Entri or manual DNS.
How to migrate
Open Console → Migration, pick your provider, and paste a read-only API key (we only read from it — your source account is never modified). Choose the categories to import and start. Large suppression lists import in the background with a live progress bar.
Keep it up to date
Turn on Keep up to date and choose a frequency — hourly, every 6 hours, daily, or weekly — to re-sync templates and suppressions automatically. If we cannot connect to your provider three times in a row (for example, a revoked key), we pause the sync and email you so you can re-connect.
