Get an inbound message
Fetch one inbound message by id — the same object the list returns and the forward action posts to your endpoint.
Retrieves a single stored inbound message. The shape is the `InboundMessage` object: lower-cased headers, bodies (truncated at 1 MB), attachment metadata and the SPF / DKIM / DMARC verdicts.
GET /v3/inbound/messages/{id}
Requires a full_access or read_only key — a send_only key is denied. An id of another workspace, a message a route did not store (unless ?kept=all, which also returns forward-only messages), or one already purged after 30 days, answers 404 not_found.
Responses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
200 | OK. The inbound message. |
401 | Missing or invalid API key. |
403 | insufficient_scope — a send_only key cannot read inbound mail. |
404 | No such inbound message on your workspace. |
